OOOH look what came through the letterbox!

Hmmm. I don't know why they make letterboxes so high these days.

Still can't reach. Think I can see who it's addressed to though...Niftyknits!

Better fetch reinforcements.

Steady, steady...can you reach?

Oooops. You know what we need? A knight in shining armour.

Hurrah for St George and merry England!

Anything for a fair maiden, ma'am ;-)

So are we going to open it? I want to know who it's from!

PS and thanks for having your blog settings so that we don't have to type in those silly letters and numbers.

OhMyGosh - what fun! The photography is excellent and the Meerkats....well, that is a cooperative little herd....er, clutch?...er, band?....errr, clan?
Whatever you call it, be sure and call it creative! Thanks for a bright spot today!

Collective noun for meerkats is actually a "mob" though I think that sounds like they're a bit rowdy!

Is that really your mail slot and how you get your mail? I wish my mail came that way!

It really is our letterbox in our front door, and we get a daily delivery of mail. BUT the downside is that unlike the States we don't get outgoing mail collected, my parcels have to be taken to the post office.

This made my LOL when I found it on Facebook this morning (posted by the Snail Emporium). I definitely see a mini book in the offing!
