Valentines Day Giveaway

Cos I lurves you all...

I need help escaping my Plants v Zombies addiction, so I'm offering a chomper keychain and sunflower pin as an incentive to help me beat it. They're not for sale any more so you won't get one any other way! All you have to do is recommend a replacement game - it has to be inexpensive and for the PC, I don't have a fancy new phone which is just as well or I'd never get anything done!

So - leave your recommendations below (one per comment) and why you think I'll like the game you're suggesting. You can enter as many times as you like as long as you come up with a game I might like. I'll choose a random winner at the weekend, Sunday 19th February. Don't forget to leave me a way of contacting you if your blogger profile is "private" I can't find you through it.

***CLOSED*** I'm finding the winner now!

Not very creative, I know, but solitaire is fun on pc, but addictive too. Guess just about any game that's fun is addictive, lol.

I recommend Braid. It's a fantastic puzzle platformer. Not too expensive either.

Along the kids line...anything to do with legos! Our grandson loves Star Wars legos and even went to a legos camp last summer:)

I have recently become addicted to Hidden Chronicles. It's a facebook game, but doesn't eat up too much time, it is a good break from the tedious for me.

And if you are feeling stressed, you could ice someone in Mafia Wars, also a facebook game. This one is a little more complicated and time consuming. Hubby got me into it.

oh, you can email me at

on FB I play Bejewelled Blitz, its one minute against the clock to score points by making 3 (or more) of the same in a row.
The other game I play on the PC is Spider, its like patience only with 2 packs of cards and 10 columns, although I'm not sure how to get hold of it on windows.

I got a bit addicted to facebook games in january, but trouble is there's a lot of sharing ie spamming your own feed.
I found TRIPLE TOWN which is on facebook or google+, is free and is a match 3 - that needs a bit of thinking to get high points, without a timer to fail against. No killing involved.

Replacement game for the pc? Hmmm - if you want a game that doesn't eat away your life but you can always have on, even when working on other sites try 'Astro Empires'. Great for meeting new people too! Always a bonus in my eyes. Facebook games tend to get a bit too addictive.

Dig Dug is an awesome game where you have to kill underground-dwelling monsters by inflating them until they pop, or by dropping rocks on them!

What's not to like :D
