Meerkat Sales Fairy Adventure!

Remember my giveaway? The little sales fairy has now arrived at the home of her new owner, Adrienne of DancingRainbows in Arizona and has sent me some photos to share with you - I'm *very* jealous of the sunshine, it's pretty dismal here in the UK, cold and windy. Etsy Sales Fairy

Have you got one?

I bought my sales fairy from raisinlike.etsy.com in January, and for a while sales came thick and fast! Meerkats were being knitted and posted like there was no tomorrow!

Sales have died down a bit lately, so I thought maybe she wasn't happy with her position hanging in my hallway.

This is my "pride of place" display point, my steampunk necklace lives there when I'm not wearing it, hanging from a fabulous carved recycled root which was a present from my son. Can you see the face that's carved on the wood? In the family it's known as the "elk"...and that's another long story!

Anyway, I digress...

To cheer up the Sales Fairy I took her geocaching (you might have guessed!)



Here she is, sitting on the cache with the predictable meerkat. For those in the know, there are a couple of geocoins and travelbugs in the pic. It was a fabulous hiding place, a hinged hollowed out log in woodland!


Then the meerkat and fairy had a go at stalking...

My flutterbutt has arrived!

First of all - oops! If anyone was reading earlier today, I'd changed some settings and was suddenly writing in Hindi...no mean achievement, I feel!

As you were...

A short while ago I was chatting on the Etsy Forums when the lovely Raisinlike asked me about trading. I was absolutely thrilled, I've loved her shop for ages. Convos flew backwards and forwards as we tried to decide how many items we could bear to limit ourselves to.

I asked for a flutterbutt for my husband, for Valentine's Day - but it was impossible not to rip open the envelope and share straight away.



As you can see, she's already found a home watching over my meerkats!

I also asked for an Etsy Sales Fairy so I probably won't have time to blog any more - I'll be too busy wrapping parcels and going to the post office.
